Who this Horse Mood privacy policy covers
This policy covers horsemoods.com, the website of Horsemoods, a USA authorized Horse Mood retailer with an office at 1790 Broadway, Floor 11, New York, NY 10019. It explains what happens to information about you when you read these pages, when you write to the website inbox and when you click through to buy Horse Mood.
It does not cover the marketplace checkout where an order is paid for, or the order desk that handles orders, tracking, changes and refunds. Each of those runs under its own privacy policy, which you can read before you pay. Where this page describes what they do, it says so and keeps to what we know.
Horsemoods is a retailer, not the maker of Horse Mood; the brand line printed on the bottle is Vitalifes. This site passes no reader data to the manufacturer, so nothing here describes what the manufacturer does with data.
What Horsemoods collects while you read about Horse Mood
You do not need an account to use this site, and there are no forms on it: no sign-up box, no newsletter pop-up and no chat window. Reading the pages does not ask you for anything.
Like almost every website, the server that delivers these pages keeps short technical logs: the address your request came from, the browser and device type, the page requested and the time. Our hosting and security providers use those records to keep the site running and to block abuse. We do not use them to build a profile of you.
The site also keeps one small note in your own browser, explained in the cookies section below, so that the opening animation plays once per visit rather than on every page.
What you share when you contact a Horse Mood desk
If you write to the website inbox, we receive whatever you choose to include: usually your name, your email address and your message. We use it to answer you. That inbox handles pages, typos, privacy and press, and it cannot see orders.
If you call the order desk about an order, you are speaking to the order desk rather than to this website. It asks for your order ID so that it can find the order, and it keeps its own records under its own policy. Horsemoods does not receive a recording or a transcript of that call.
Both routes are listed in the site footer and on the contact page, so you can pick the right one before you share anything at all.
Buying Horse Mood: what the checkout partner handles
When you choose a pack and continue to checkout, you leave this site for a separate, secure marketplace checkout. That is where you enter your name, delivery address and payment details, and where the price, the shipping terms and the guarantee are shown. Its privacy policy covers everything you type there.
Horsemoods never sees or stores your full card number. We do not receive your card details at all, and we would never ask for them by email or by phone.
After you pay, a confirmation email arrives with an order ID. Keep it: the order desk needs that ID for tracking, changes and returns, and it is the quickest way for anyone to find your order.
Cookies and browser storage on the Horse Mood pages
| Session note (hm_intro) | Set by this site in your browser’s session storage so the opening animation plays once per visit. It holds the value 1 and nothing about you, and it clears when you close the tab. |
|---|---|
| Security cookies | Our hosting and security providers may set strictly necessary cookies that help tell real visitors from automated traffic. They are not used for advertising. |
| Checkout cookies | The marketplace checkout may set its own cookies once you arrive there, including ones that record which website sent you. They fall under the checkout’s own policy. |
| Advertising or analytics cookies | None are set by this site as built on the revision date above. |
You can clear or block cookies and site storage in your browser settings at any time. This site will still work; the only difference is that the opening animation may play again.
How Horsemoods uses what it holds about Horse Mood readers
- To answer the message you sent, and to point you to the right desk when a question is really about an order.
- To correct a page when a reader tells us something on it is wrong.
- To keep the site secure and working.
- To meet legal duties, such as keeping ordinary business records or answering a lawful request.
We do not sell your personal information, we do not rent it and we do not share it with advertisers. If a message you send needs someone else to act, for example a refund question that only the order desk can answer, we tell you where to take it rather than forwarding your details without asking.
How long Horse Mood messages are kept
We keep an email only for as long as it is useful for answering you and for any follow-up, and after that only for as long as the law requires for business records. Server logs are held for a short period for security and are then removed by the hosting provider.
If you ask us to delete a message you sent, we will, unless we are required to keep it, and in that case we will tell you so.
Order records are a different matter. Your order, delivery details and refund history are held by the checkout and the order desk, not by this website, so a request about them goes to the order desk with your order ID.
How Horse Mood messages are protected
Every page on this site is served over an encrypted connection, and the website inbox is kept on an email service with access limited to the people who answer it. No method of storing or sending information is perfectly secure, which is one more reason this site asks for so little.
Your choices about Horse Mood data we hold
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the website inbox listed in the site footer and on the contact page, from the address you used before, and say what you would like done. We will not charge for this, and we will not ask for identity documents to find an email you sent us yourself.
Depending on where you live, state law may give you further rights, such as the right to know which categories of information a business collects. For this site the short answer is the one above: the messages you choose to send, and the technical logs every web server keeps.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can raise a complaint with the consumer protection office of your state.
What not to send us about Horse Mood
Please do not email card numbers, bank details or passwords. No one at Horsemoods will ever ask for them, and a message asking you for payment details in our name is not from us.
Please keep medical records and detailed health information out of your emails too. If you want to know whether Horse Mood suits you, the right person to ask is your own doctor or pharmacist, who can see your history. The disclaimer explains when that conversation matters most.
Links from the Horse Mood pages to other sites
Some pages link to public health sources such as the NIH and MedlinePlus, and every order button leads to the marketplace checkout. When you follow a link you are on another website, under its own privacy policy. We do not send those sites anything about you when you click.
Horse Mood is for adults only
Horse Mood is labeled for adults, and the bottle’s caution panel names children under 18 among those who should consult a physician before any supplement. This site is written for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and if we learn that we have, we delete it.
Changes to this Horse Mood privacy policy
If what this site collects changes, for example if an analytics tool is ever added, this page will be updated before the change goes live and the revision date at the top will move. This version was revised on September 30, 2026.
Writing to Horsemoods about Horse Mood privacy
Email the website inbox listed in the site footer, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm ET, or write to Horsemoods, 1790 Broadway, Floor 11, New York, NY 10019, USA. The office is not a walk-in store and does not accept returns; the returns address is on the returns page.
